My mom filled the test tubes with honey and corked them.

MOH Deniz dipped the corked tubes into a bowl of beeswax that we melted on the stove using the double-boiler method. The beeswax acted as a the perfect, natural seal for these test tubes.
She then left the beeswax to cool by sticking dipped the test tubes into a container filled with rice, for stability.
I was the last step in the assembly process--I cut out twine and used it to tie the tags I made a few weeks ago onto the test tubes.

Here they are, all packed up and ready to be delivered to the reception site.
I'm so happy with the way these turned out. I think everyone will appreciate their edible favors!
